Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw (Elizabeth Alice MacGraw) is a American animal rights activist, author also a model, actor and author. The actress is famous for films like Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) and The Getaway (1972). New York was her home and she was brought up in an artistic environment. In the beginning she began as an photographer's assistant. In the future she shifted her focus into directing and modeling. MacGraw was awarded the Golden Globe Award, for most promising newcomer. The MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was an enormous success that earned her fame worldwide and also as an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. In just three films, MacGraw was named the top female box-office debut around the globe. At Grauman's Chinese Theater in the year 1972, she was able to have her handprints and signature engraved. Alongside The Getaway Convoy Players she also starred in the television series The Winds of War. Her autobiography, published in 1991 Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw was married three times.
