Born and brought up from Brisbane Australia. She is the daughter of the British father. Clemens first started her acting career in Australian television in high-school. The actress starred as Juliet in one episode of Blue Water High in 2006 and also acted as Alison on The Pirate Islands: The Lost Treasure of Fiji children's show in 2007. Clemens starred as Harper as Harper in Love My Way, a Showtime drama in the same year. The role was so well-known that she was nominated to receive the Graham Kennedy Award at the Logie Awards 2008 for Most Outstanding New Talent. Clemens played alongside Sigrid and Xavier as well as Samuel Linda Cropper Andrew McFarlane in the 2008's MTV Networks Australia Dramatic Film Dream Life. The role she played was Catherine her sister Myrtle Wilson played by Isla Fisher. Clemens plays the role in Rectify 2013, a 2013 television mini-series created by Ray McKinnon.
