Ina Garten, an American author of cookbooks on cooking as well as Emmy Award-winning host of Food Network's oldest program Barefoot Contessa that began airing in 2002 has 27 seasons until 2020. Ina began her career in writing nuclear energy policies and budgets to the White House. Although she found her job interesting initially, she eventually lost her interest in it and purchased a small specialty store called Barefoot Contessa. It took her nearly 18 years to make her shop extremely successful before she sold it. After that, she started writing one of her cookbooks. A number of other cookbooks and magazine columns were later published. A different hit was her Food Network Television show. In addition, she sells a variety of product from cooking ingredients to equipment and storage containers. Ina has never attended any cookery schools nor did she work in a dining establishment. She is entirely self-taught. Her easy-going approach to entertaining and her straightforward cooking style is well-known. Some of her most popular recipes are Skillet and Roasted Lemon Chicken Mac and cheese Mac and Beef Bourguignon. cheese with Beatty's Chocolate Cake and Lemon Bars.
