Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco, is a singer-songwriter and Canadian American. Her albums span over 20 years. DiFranco has released over 20 albums. Ani Difranco is considered to be a feminist legend and a Grammy award winner. Being one of the first female artists in the 1990s, DiFranco founded her own record label. DiFranco was born in Buffalo New York on September 23 1970 the daughter of Elizabeth (Ross) and Dante Americo DiFranco and Dante Americo DiFranco, who made acquaintance while studying at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her mother hails from Montreal and her father is of Italian descent. Ani DiFranco wrote and sang 32 Flavors.
