Katherine Jean Bolduan also called Kate Bolduan by professional names is a broadcast journalist from the United States. Most well-known is her role as anchorperson for the CNN's At This Hour morning show. She was also the co-anchor of CNN's Monday morning programs New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan is a member the award-winning CNN coverage of the presidential elections of 2012 and in 2016. She has also served as an official correspondent for the congressional office in Washington DC covering the activities of the US House and the senate. As a member of Capitol Hill Unit Capitol Hill Unit Bolduan reported on legislative events and other congressional activities, including negotiations to increase the limit on federal debt and the super committee deliberations. Bolduan has worked as a correspondent for general assignments, covering such stories as the Christmas Day 2009 bombing attempt and the Supreme Court's landmark decision in the case of Obamacare. She also covered the introduction of stimulus programs in 2009. She began working for CNN at the end of 2007 and was a national reporter for CNN Newsource. As a CNN Newsource correspondent, she was a reporter for breaking news and also produced feature-length reports to over 800 CNN Newsource members. Prior to that, she was with NBC News MSNBC and WTVD-TV. She is a resident of New York City, with her husband and their two kids.
