Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding - born Elena Jane Goulding (30 December 1986) in Hereford (England) She is an English singer/songwriter. Ellie Goulding rose quickly to the top with her electronic pop sound after capturing the attention of people by releasing "Starry Eyed" along with "Guns and Horses" in the year 2010. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding makes a mark as a contemporary artist with her singing voice that is soprano and the ability of writing songs that are both captivating and empathetic. Her style is similar in many ways to Kate Bush, Imogen Heap as well as other artists similar to her. Polydor Records, a major music label, signed her and started preparing to release Goulding's debut album.
